ARK Loading LLC, a Florida limited liability company

This page explains, in short, what information ARK Loading receives from this website and from ARK Truck Loader, and how it is kept. The full rules are in sections 7 to 9 of the Terms of Service; where this page and the Terms differ, the Terms apply.

This website

• ARK Loading’s pages set no cookies of their own and have no sign-up forms.
• The download page sends the software key you type to ARK Loading’s server, only to check it and give you a download link that works for 2 hours.
• Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may count page visits and keep its own security records, including visitors’ IP addresses. The service that receives the program’s uploads and check-ins stores no IP addresses.

ARK Truck Loader

• Uploads. The program sends the store’s saved delivery files (including scanned order tickets, with the store’s customers’ names, addresses and order numbers), Overflow files and Material Issues to ARK Loading, encrypted, for data analysis and inventory approval.
• Check-ins. A short check-in confirms the license is active. It holds the computer’s name, codes that tell computers and Windows users apart without naming them, program and Windows versions, upload and update status, error codes and hours used.
• Support reports. Sent only when someone chooses Send Support Info. Customer names and street addresses the program knows are removed before the report leaves the computer.
• Never sent. The software key, passwords, Windows user names, files outside the ARK Loading folders, and the truck list.

How it is kept

Uploads and support reports are encrypted on the store’s computer so only ARK Loading can open them, and stay encrypted in transit and in storage. ARK Loading handles the store’s customer information on the store’s behalf, keeps it confidential, never sells it, never uses it for advertising and never shares it with other clients. If ARK Loading confirms that someone without permission accessed a client’s information, it tells the client within 10 days. How long information is kept is set out in section 8.8 of the Terms.
